3. Step by step: guide you How to rip Blu-ray to MKV, HD MKV
Step 1. Load Blu-Ray disc
Download and install Pavtube to your Mac. Install and run the program. BD drive is an essential hardware for Blu-ray ripping. Insert your Blu-Ray disc in BD drive, and load your Blu-Ray movie by clicking on “BD Folder”, browse to the drive and click “Choose”. You do not have to open the any of the folders. When the M2TS files are imported to file list, check the main movie and uncheck other files. The main movie is the largest M2TS file and you can judge it from the duration.
Step2 . Set output format
Click on Format bar to select an appropriate format from the profile list. Blu-ray to MKV Ripper features various output formats for portable players, removable devices and multiple editing software. You can click the up arrow and down arrow to view the formats. If you would like to customize video and audio parameter, click on “Settings”
and adjust advanced video/ audio parameters.
3. Start ripping Blu-ray disc to MKV format
Now that the settings have been completed, click on the “Convert” button and the software will output selected main movie to your computer. After converting you can play it on Mac with VLC player and transfer the movie to server for share.
