AVI said it lost $ 19.7 million, or 23 cents per share in the second quarter. This compares to a loss of $ 1.8 million, or 2 cents per share, a year ago. Revenue fell to $ 2.9 million from 5 million.
BOTHELL, WASH. - RNA drug developer AVI BioPharma Inc posted a larger loss of the second quarter Monday, as gains in its share price in higher costs.
In morning trading, AVI share declined 14 cents, or 5.8 percent, to $ 2.26.
AVI is the development of treatments for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, cardiovascular disease, and viruses such as Ebola. During the quarter, the company took a charge charge of $ 14.6 million after taxes because its mandate had increased. AVI sold 14.2 million shares to private investors in January, with warrants which allowed investors to buy 14.2 million shares from July 30.
The company's stock price has more than doubled to $ 1.58 in the second quarter, leading to greater accountability.

jail broke mine and then the jack where you plug in earphones broke, so i took it to best buy to see if they could fix it, and they didn't care that it was jail broken. They couldn't fix it so i sent it in to apple, and they knew it was jail broken and didn't care. They couldn't fix it and sent me a new one.
I might have just gotten a guy who was in an extremely good mood though. If you jailbreak it it does void the warranty.
